Inaugural Research Day

Faculty, staff and students attended the UCLA School of Dentistry's inaugural research day, the theme of which was "Basic and Translational Research in Oral/Head and Neck Cancer." Event highlights included a a keynote speech by Dr. Waun Ki Hong of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, a faculty symposium and a poster competition. DRI/RAC Seminar Series

Since December 2006, the Dental Research Institute (DRI) and the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) have presented a monthly seminar entitled, “Translational Research Powered by the Faculty at the UCLA School of De ntistry.” This series was developed to provide fellow faculty, students and staff with information on research activities in the School. We have had many exciting and innovative presentations from the faculty and anticipate even more groundbreaking information.
