| The goal of the Periodontic Preceptorship
Program is to provide an advanced education in Periodontics for an
improved understanding of periodontal diseases and increased skills
in its management.
A series of seminars and lecture courses are available each quarter.
The student can discuss with the program director his/her interest
and needs and an effort will be made to prepare a program that meets
those needs.
Clinical practice will be limited to observation and assistance
at pre surgical and surgical procedures. Those interested in research
will be able to collaborate in some of the ongoing research rpojects
in the Section of Periodontics.
